ENGLAND VERSUS SCOTLAND AND THE REST OF THE WORLD
On the bright and sunny but cold morning of 25th January, the bowlers of Pedras LBC were again split by nationality (real or imagined) to contest the annual England versus Scotland and the Rest of the World to do battle for the McGowan trophy. Across six rinks, games of triples were played with the result in doubt for most of the morning. At close of play, each side had three victories but, as been agreed before the match, the deciding factor was shot aggregate and on that count England emerged as the overall winner by thirty shots.
