ENGLAND  versus SCOTLAND and the

REST of THE WORLD

On Tuesday 25th January, the annual match between the old opponents resumed after its absence in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  The teams were led by Dave Austin and Bob Ferguson and the match was contested by over forty bowlers across seven rinks with the result decided on aggregate shot difference.   Bob's rallying cry to his troops before the match failed to produce the result for which he hoped and England emerged the winners by 115-85 shots.

After the match,, twenty odd bowlers, partners and friends repaired to A Charrete restaurant for lunch.  John London kindly arranged musical entertainment and everybody seemed to enjoy themselves.
