Eight sides met for the final round of the BA Summer League on a hot day at Pedras on 19th June.

 

Pedras Crocs were leading the table knowing that they only needed, at most, a point or two, to retain the trophy that Panthers had won in 2024. Crocs' opponents were Pedras Gators who had the best of the early ends of the first sets. However, Russ Malin, Peter Barker and Keith Boak staged a good comeback to edge their set and both Crocs teams then went on to win their second sets. With the bonus points for the overall shot aggregate, Crocs beat Gators 8-2 and clinched the championship.

 

The runners-up were Floresta Foxes and Gators finished fourth.

 

The presentation lunch was held at the New Jolly Sailor. Sixty bowlers with family and friends enjoyed some good food and a few drinks and then Tom Scanlon, performing his final duty before retiring as League Director, presented the trophy to the Crocs Captain Peter Barker.
