Set in the coastal fishing village and resort of Cabanas and close to the historic town of Tavira is the Pedras da Rainha holiday complex, home to Pedras Lawn Bowls Club.  The natural grass green was laid in 2009 and, with mild winters and 300 days of sunshine, bowling is possible throughout the year. 

 

Usually, bowling can take place until 16:00 every day of the week except Thursdays when the green is closed to facilitate maintenance - only Bowls Algarve matches and games involving touring sides are allowed.

Roll-ups are on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday mornings - arrive by 09:45 to register - and Wednesday afternoons - arrive by 13:15.
